Itinerary

Day 1

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After some time to rest and refresh, the evening will be dedicated to a spiritual experience at the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal. Here, you will witness the mesmerizing aarati rituals by the Bagmati River, where priests perform an elaborate ceremony with oil lamps, chants, and traditional music, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere. This sacred experience will mark a beautiful beginning to your journey in Nepal.

Day 2

Your guide will come to your hotel to pick you up with transportation. As soon as you take your breakfast, your Day Sightseeing begins, you will be visiting four major landmarks in Kathmandu including Boudhanath, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Our Guide will give you a perfect idea of which place would be the best to initiate. Basically, the trip begins with a tour to Swayambhunath also known as the Monkey Temple – a 2500 years old landmark; it is said to be, the Radiant Lotus of the Valley-Mythology, established when the water was drained by Manjushree, the God of the Wisdom. This Temple is a famous pilgrimage site for Buddhists, is located on a beautiful hill inside Kathmandu valley. It is situated on top of a hill that could be observed from almost every part of the Kathmandu Valley. The tourists call this Stupa ‘Monkey Temple’ as there are many monkey monkeys living around the Place. After the Sightseeing around Monkey Temple, we drive to another landmark, Boudhanath Stupa.

Boudhanath Stupa has been renovated after the Earthquake in 2015 as this was also impacted. The Boudhanath Stupa is the world’s biggest Stupa and represents Tibetan Buddhists Culture in Nepal. Antique shops around this stupa where you can buy things of your preferences concerning Tibetan Culture and Lifestyles. 

The last site of this day is Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient Royal residential quarter, Mahadev Parvati Temple, Temple house of Kumari (Living Goddess) around this Durbar Square. Walk around the local bazaar and back to the hotel.

Day 3

Depart from Kathmandu in the morning, aiming to beat the traffic and enjoy a smooth journey. The drive takes approximately 7-8 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic. Along the way, you'll pass through picturesque countryside, winding roads, and charming villages. Take breaks at scenic spots or local eateries to stretch your legs and savour some Nepali snacks. As you approach Pokhara, catch breathtaking views of the Himalayas reflected in the serene waters of Phewa Lake. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel and unwind after the journey.

Day 4

Today you will be driven for a full-day journey through the picturesque city of Pokhara, where every turn reveals breathtaking natural beauty and cultural treasures. After your early breakfast, the Hotel vehicle will drop you to Annapurna Cable Car Station, for your visit to Sarangkot hill by ropeway experience. Returning from the hill, you will be driven to the lakeside for your boating to Barahi Temple and around.

With a good boating experience, visit famous places of Pokhara City for your sightseeing around Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Bindabasini Temple. In the evening, you will be driven to the World Peace Pagoda and Pumdikot hill for a mesmerising sunset view from top of the hill.

Day 5

After the breakfast, you will be taking a comfortable journey to Chitwan offering a blend of convenience and scenic views as you transition from the mountainous landscapes to the lush plains of the Terai region. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the picturesque vistas along the way, including quaint villages, terraced fields, and verdant forests.

Upon arrival in Chitwan, check in to your hotel and wander through the village streets, adorned with traditional mud houses and surrounded by vibrant fields, and witness the daily activities of the locals. Engage with the friendly Tharu community, who warmly welcome visitors and are eager to share their stories, folklore, and traditional dances.

Day 6

Start the day with a jungle jeep safari to spot wildlife such as rhinoceroses, deer, and various bird species. The morning journey would be perfect to spot the wild animals as they turn out to the river banks and ponds for their refreshments. After safari return to your hotel, have lunch and head towards the Elephant Breeding Center to learn about the conservation efforts and see baby elephants. In the afternoon, enjoy your traditional canoeing boat ride on the famous Rapti river followed by the Tharu Cultural Dance Show, where you can learn about the traditional dance and culture of the Tharu people.

Day 7

From Chitwan, you will drive back to Kathmandu after having breakfast, which will be your final road trip of your Golden Triangle Tour Nepal Itinerary. The drive will again be scenic and present you with wonderful views of lush green hills, rivers, terraced fields, and dense forests. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will move to your hotel. In the evening, you will have your free time to explore around the touristic hub of Nepal 'Thamel', buy souvenirs to your loved ones and spend your time on your own to experience the nightlife of Kathmandu.

As your unforgettable journey through Nepal comes to an end, our company vehicle will ensure a comfortable transfer to the International Airport, perfectly timed with your scheduled flight back home.
