Itinerary

Day 1

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After some time to rest and refresh, the evening will be dedicated to a spiritual experience at the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal. Here, you will witness the mesmerizing aarati rituals by the Bagmati River, where priests perform an elaborate ceremony with oil lamps, chants, and traditional music, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere. This sacred experience will mark a beautiful beginning to your journey in Nepal.

Day 2

Your guide will come to your hotel to pick you up with transportation. As soon as you take your breakfast, your Day Sightseeing begins, you will be visiting four major landmarks in Kathmandu including Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Our Guide will give you a perfect idea of which place would be the best to initiate. Basically, the trip begins with a tour to Swoyambhunath also known as the Monkey Temple – a 2500 years old landmark; it is said to be, the Radiant Lotus of the Valley-Mythology, established when the water was drained by Manjushree, the God of the Wisdom. This Temple is a famous pilgrimage site for Buddhists, is located on a beautiful hill inside Kathmandu valley. It is situated on top of a hill that could be observed from almost every part of the Kathmandu Valley. The tourists call this Stupa ‘Monkey Temple’ as there are many monkey monkeys living around the Place. After the Sightseeing around Monkey Temple, we drive to another landmark, Boudhanath Stupa.

Boudhanath Stupa has been renovated after the Earthquake in 2015 as this was also impacted. The Boudhanath Stupa is the world’s biggest Stupa and represents Tibetan Buddhists Culture in Nepal. Antique shops around this stupa where you can buy things of your preferences concerning Tibetan Culture and Lifestyles. 

The last site of this day is Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient Royal residential quarter, Mahadev Parvati Temple, Temple house of Kumari (Living Goddess) around this Durbar Square. Walk around the local bazaar and back to the hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast, we’ll depart Kathmandu to begin the journey to Chitwan national park. On the way, you may do an optional White water rafting trip. The journey takes about 5-6 hours from Kathmandu-Chitwan national park. Upon arrival in Chitwan, check in to your hotel and wander through the village streets, adorned with traditional mud houses and surrounded by vibrant fields, and witness the daily activities of the locals. Engage with the friendly Tharu community, who warmly welcome visitors and are eager to share their stories, folklore, and traditional dances.

Day 4

Start the day with a jungle jeep safari to spot wildlife such as rhinoceroses, deer, and various bird species. The morning journey would be perfect to spot the wild animals as they turn out to the river banks and ponds for their refreshments. After safari return to your hotel, have lunch and head towards the Elephant Breeding Center to learn about the conservation efforts and see baby elephants. In the afternoon, enjoy your traditional canoeing boat ride on the famous Rapti river followed by the Tharu Cultural Dance Show, where you can learn about the traditional dance and culture of the Tharu people.

Today after breakfast, we will depart for Lumbini “The birthplace of Lord Buddha”. The drive will take around 5 to 6 hours passing through a beautiful paddy farm, river, city, etc.

Today after breakfast, you will explore the holy Lumbini Garden, Mayadevi Temple “the birthplace of Lord Shakyamuni Buddha”, Museum and other many sacred monasteries, Stupa, Debalaya, representative of different countries from the world. You may meditate for a few hours in the monastery or garden. A full day will be sufficient to look around the garden for the most attraction site.

Day 7

Drive to Pokhara, early in the morning with amazing scenery of farmland, city. It may take around 7-8 hours of drive depending upon the road traffic for you to reach Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist spots in Nepal. It offers a magnificent view of a snow-capped mountain in the north and a city view of Pokhara with a beautiful lake. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel and unwind after the journey.

Day 8

Today you will be driven for a full-day journey through the picturesque city of Pokhara, where every turn reveals breathtaking natural beauty and cultural treasures. After your early breakfast, the Hotel vehicle will drop you to Annapurna Cable Car Station, for your visit to Sarangkot hill by ropeway experience. Returning from the hill, you will be driven to the lakeside for your boating to Barahi Temple and around. 

With a good boating experience, visit famous places of Pokhara City for your sightseeing around Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Bindabasini Temple. In the evening, you will be driven to the World Peace Pagoda and Pumdikot hill for a mesmerising sunset view from top of the hill.

Day 9

After going through the best places to visit in Nepal, you will finally return to Kathmandu. The drive will again be scenic and present you with wonderful views of lush green hills, rivers, terraced fields, and dense forests. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will move to your hotel. You can either take a rest in your hotel or choose to stroll around the stress throughout the day.
